The 2022 VW Tiguan has new LED headlights, new bumpers as well as a new selection of rims. Furthermore, for the first time in the history of the Tiguan, new 20- inch wheels are added to the 17, 18 and 19- inch wheels that are already offered.
On the Highline R-Line, new upgrades include a new front fascia with an illuminated grille that has a light strip running on both sides of the logo. The final look is absolutely sublime.

All the new versions of the 2022 have a 2.0 L 4- cylinder engine with 184 horsepower, coupled with an 8- speed automatic transmission. This year for the first time, all-wheel drive is offered standard on the Trendline version, instead of being optional as it was previously. All Tiguan models have a towing capacity that can reach up to 680 kg (1 500 pounds).
When it comes to fuel efficiency, the 2022 Tiguan has a highway fuel consumption of only 8.6 L/100 km. Urban mode numbers are 11 L/100 km.
The 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan interior is spacious and can welcome up to 5 occupants. However, all versions offer the possibility to increase space in your SUV by adding a third row of seats, bringing the seating capacity to 7 passengers.
Moreover, the Tiguan has a generous amount of cargo space for up to 1 064 liters in the trunk. Once you fold down rear seats, the cargo space increases to 2 081 liters, which is more than most SUVs in its category.
When it comes to features and added technologies, the 2022 Tiguan has no reason to envy its competitors.
